ABOUT
David Elharar investigates the emotional lives of everyday objects. Through large-scale drawings, he explores how familiar consumer items become repositories of memory, ritual, and belonging, quietly becoming contemporary artifacts. Created in response to an increasingly uncertain world, his work reflects on the comfort and permanence found in the ordinary.
Developed through a gradual process of observation, revision, and layering, each drawing retains traces of its own making. Rather than concealing every adjustment, Elharar allows the work's evolution to remain visible, preserving a sense of human presence within the image. Precision and imperfection coexist, revealing process as an integral part of the finished work.
